1. The Seventh Day Can You Enter this Blessed and Sanctified Day?
This book explores the seventh day of "My rest" in Genesis 2:1-3 and traces it throughout the Bible. It is divided into 8 chapters, perhaps 8 weeks, for use in individual, classroom, or small group study. Psalm 95 describes how the Israelites, wandering in the desert could not enter "My rest" due to unbelief and disobedience. The Israelites in exile read first Genesis 2:1-3 then Psalm 95 each Sabbath for centuries clearly understanding how they were linked. Hebrews 4::4-5 quotes both Gen 2:2-3 and Psalm 95:11 in a single sentence as it describes how we today can enter "My rest" only when we hear His voice and believe in God. This book explains how today you can obtain true rest for your soul.
  2. Human Origins and the Bible
This book explores recent findings in paleontology, DNA research, and Biblical research to make sense of Adam and Eve in scripture using a high regard for both science and the highest respect for scripture.. There are three agreed-upon facts by experts today: 1. The Bible describes an Adam and Eve living roughly 8,000 years ago. 2. Scientists have found evidence that the first humans migrated from Africa about 50,000 years ago to Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas 3. DNA research has determined the first Eve and Adam lived perhaps 135,000 years ago. This book is also designed for individual or group Bible studies, and likewise divided into chapters with questions at the end of each chapter. One appendix at the end describes how small groups can use this book. The book is about 1/2 Bible Study, and 1/2 overview of latest findings of science.
